The BOLDER Project provides an innovative emergency planning and compliance software package developed to assist industry, emergency responders, and regulators with managing hazardous materials information and the confusing and redundant regulatory reporting requirements. Facility owners and operators are required to report information about hazardous materials present at the facility to fire departments that may need to respond to an incident or an emergency, and to various federal, state, and local agencies. The BOLDER Project actually allows facilities to electronically link the critical facility data needed for an efficient and safe response to the emergency responders at the incident scene, in a standardized, responder-friendly format.
